Through their divergent experiences, Max and Jen believe in the transformative nature of outdoor recreation. After challenges with personal health and well being, Max brought his idea for a camp to Jen while skiing in 2008, and with their shared passion for skiing and helping others, they created Life Turns. The name of the foundation, Life Turns, is a metaphor for the events that caused Max’s life to turn, and subsequently how he has been able to positively transform devastating circumstances into a way to help others dealing with huge life challenges.
